I hope you and your loved ones are enjoying a wonderful summer! On this very warm summer afternoon, I am excited to reach out with firm updates and successes.
It has been an exciting season of growth and opportunity at Virginia Josey Law. In addition to bringing in new staff, we celebrated the graduation of our intern from Mercer University. I wrapped up my fifth semester teaching Advanced Litigation Drafting at Mercer University School of Law before attending legal conferences throughout the southeast.
As with every season, my priority is always providing excellent service to clients. This includes finding ways to further advance and modernize our firm. As important as it is to stay modern, it is even more important to remain steadfast in our firm priorities. For the entire firm, this means establishing meaningful legal care by personally connecting with clients and focusing on their well-being. With all our technological advances, we will never waver on what matters.
During this season, we have had the opportunity to close some important cases. Several of these cases involved families who were injured together. These successes were after months of treatment and considerable investigation and work. Despite the challenges faced by these families, we are proud of the recoveries and timeliness of recoveries.
A few weeks ago, I was invited to speak at the Georgia Bar Annual Conference. I was asked to speak on the topic of premises liability cases, more specifically torts in real estate law. I expanded on some of these questions on our firm blog. It is always a privilege to be invited to address colleagues throughout the state on an area of law I enjoy.
In the upcoming weeks, I hope to share some of the discussions on our social media platforms. As the weather continues to heat up, we are continuing to aggressively pursue the rights of injured individuals throughout Georgia.
